The Argentinean Newspaper Clarín published today a research carried on by Twitter through Socialmetrix Echo that compared on line vs traditional friendship, on the Friends' Day celebration, happening today in Argentina and other countries in Latin America.

Between the 10th and 18th July 2011, SocialMetrix studied the behavior of nearly 1.5 million Spanish Twitter users. Only 0.08% of them used phrases like "we met" "we get together", " we come to eat," "let's dance" or "let's go to my house" and derived the relationship from the virtual world to real life.
