Ads on Match can let hackers hold computers for ransom: report

Internet security firm Malwarebytes said advertisements appearing on Match’s U.K. portal have been discovered to contain code that can allow hackers to take control of a victim’s computer and hold it for ransom.

In an attack similar to the one that happened last month on PlentyOfFish, the UK version of online dating site Match was caught serving malvertising.
