U.S.A. Mobile App Report / 2015 (comScore Report)

Millennials Boast Huge Social Networking Growth and Engagement on Smartphones, But Older Users Surprisingly Outpace Them on Tablets

Tinder is the only one online dating application mentioned in U.S.A. Mobile App Report / 2015 (comScore Report)
It has less than 2 million active average daily users (and perhaps Tinder annual revenue is less than USD10 Million).
PlentyOfFish (POF), Zoosk, Badoo, OKCupid and others are not even mentioned. It seems they do not exist in the mobile space.

PlentyOfFish is past its prime and of course in decadence.
The market share of PlentyOfFish by revenue is less than 5% in the Online Dating Industry.

The Match Group had been doing all wrong, acquiring rotten companies to show illusory success to its investors.
They Match Group is only a collection of old and obsolete online dating sites: Match, Meetic, Chemistry, OkCupid, FriendScout24, OurTime, HowAboutWe and many more. Even Tinder will not monetize as expected.
The Match Group is not going to innovate and revolutionize the Online Dating Industry in the next years.

Social dating is vaporware.
Online Dating for serious daters does not need to be more social, it needs to be more effective/efficient.
It needs to reduce the false positives problem and big data dating IS NOT the key to long-lasting romance. The key to long-lasting romance is STRICT PERSONALITY SIMILARITY and not "meet other people with similar interests".
Innovations are not adding more bells and whistles to actual online dating sites.
