PAPER Language Style Matching

Language Style Matching Predicts Relationship Initiation and Stability

(not satisfaction and does not check/assess personality of participants)
Study 1 Method Participants. The analyses reported here included 40 men and 40 women (mean age = 19.6 years, SD = 1.2) who volunteered to take part in a speed-dating study.
Study 2 Method Participants. Eighty-six couples (mean age = 19.0 years, SD = 1.4) On average, the couples had been dating approximately 1.31 years (SD = 1.06).
(They were all too young persons)

The Language Style Matching (LSM) does not measure the kind of vocabulary two persons use, but how similarly they employ function-words, which include pronouns, prepositions, articles, conjunctions, auxiliary verbs, and a small group of similar words that have virtually no meaning on their own.

It is consistent with "You and your friends have very similar minds / FACEBOOK research"

An engine based on Language Style Matching will add a lot of ..... DISTORTION!

Profiling by music preferences to assess personality
video preferences to assess personality
color preferences to assess personality
bookmarks preferences to assess personality
handwriting analysis to assess personality
purchases and buying trends from credit cards to assess personality
and other methods like them
add distortion to the measurement.

Latest Research in Theories of Romantic Relationships Development clearly shows: compatibility is all about a high level on personality similarity between prospective mates for long term mating with commitment.

*Similarity is a word that has different meanings for different persons or companies, it exactly depends on how mathematically is defined.
