Perhaps without those USD 30 million eHarmony would have closed forever.

eHarmony's CA, UK and AU sites never performed as expected.
eHarmony failed in Japan.
eHarmony failed its IPO last 2011, 2010, er ... even 2008?
eHarmony closed its site in Brazil.
eHarmony failed with Jazzed.
eHarmony refused to acquire the whole of Affinitas GmbH. (eDarling and others) and went free/freemium in USA & CA.
eHarmony was copycatted several times like TeAmoRu and eSynchrony
Last June 2013 eHarmony published a paper "A Third of Recently Married Couples Met Online" but ... Better Business Bureau Tells eHarmony To Nix Best-Marriage Boasts
eHarmony closed eHarmonyLabs.
eHarmony launched matchmaking service eH+ for USD5,000
eHarmony plans to launch Elevated Careers next December 2014.

Please remember:
eHarmony, is a 14 years old obsolete site and a HOAX, based on a big scientific fraud, only sustained by big marketing budget.

The Big Five normative test that had been proven/revealed as an incomplete and incorrect model to assess/measure personality of persons.
The Big Five normative test had been replaced by HEXACO or Big Six test.

innovate and revolutionize the Online Dating Industry, killing those old & obsolete sites forever.
