How to copycat eHarmony, 13+ years old obsolete site.
eHarmony uses Hadoop to extend the range of people they connect ?
"Why Is eHarmony So Successful?"
Using Laurence Iannaccone's original idea that success of fundamentalist churches is explained by the high demands imposed on their members, Satoshi Kanazawa hypothesizes that a similar self-selection mechanism is at work with eHarmony: "they select their members very carefully, and only admit those who are very committed (or desperate; if anyone who chooses to join eHarmony is truly desperate to get married, then it can potentially and partially explain why it produces such a high proportion of all marriages in the US)."
A Match Made in the Code
eHarmony Admits They Suck, Offers Personal Matchmaking Service For USD5K Instead
eHarmony has launched its new matchmaking service eH+ which is a combination of online dating with an experienced matchmaker who will work personally with the clients. eH+ is priced at USD5K a year.
THAT IS THE SAME TO SAY a computer also uses a typewriter to innovate!
The Online Dating Industry needs to kill the Matchmaking Industry, like computers killed typewriters.
eH+ seems to be quite similar to eHarmony Premier
BUT terrible more expensive.
eHarmony is a 13+ years old
obsolete site using Big Five traits to measure personality of its
members, and Big Five normative personality test is only good for
informative/guidance purposes but not good enough for predictive
purposes. Many Psychologists began to use the HEXACO model of personality during 2013 to replace the Big Five test, but I suggest to use the 16PF5 test.
there are over 5,000 online dating sites, no one uses the 16PF5, no one
is scientifically proven yet, and no one can show you compatibility distribution curves,
i.e. if you are a man seeking women, to show how compatible you are
with a 20,000,000 women database, and to select a bunch of 100 women
from 20,000,000 women database.
is in the range of showing you 3 most compatible persons per 1,000
persons screened, and with the 16PF5 you can reach 3 most compatible
persons per 100,000 persons screened; a 100 times more powerful
algorithm (NOT 100% improvement, a 100 X improvement, really an innovation)
