Journal of Research in Personality Volume 64, October 2016, Pages 102–111
Highlights
- We examined age differences in HEXACO personality self-reports (N ≈ 100,000, ages 14–74).
- Honesty-Humility showed an upward trend of about 1 standard deviation between ages 18 and 60.
- Age trends for other dimensions often differed by facet.
We examined age differences in the six broad HEXACO personality factors and their defining facets, using self-reports from an online sample (N ≈ 100,000, ages 14–74). Honesty-Humility showed an upward trend of about one full standard deviation unit between ages 18 and 60. Age trends for Emotionality and Extraversion differed by facet, but overall were downward for Emotionality and upward for Extraversion. Agreeableness showed relatively weak age trends. Conscientiousness and Openness showed upward age trends during the teen years (extending to the mid-20s for Conscientiousness), but age trends thereafter differed considerably by facet. Results are discussed in relation to previous findings for the Big Five, to the “age-crime curve”, and to possible evolved developmental origins.

Using the Big Five model of personality could be considered a FRAUD ?

Please remember:
The Big Five normative personality test is the biggest mistake Psychologists made since several years ago.
The Big Five is also known as the Five Factor Model theory of personality traits, a psychological model based on research by Paul Costa and Robert McCrae. That is why
many online dating sites like eHarmony and its copycats like eDarling / EliteSingles, TeAmoRU, MiMediaManzana, eSynchrony and other are HOAXES. The Big Five normative test had been replaced by HEXACO or Big Six test.
All normative tests like Big Five, HEXACO, 16PF5 or similar like 15FQ+ to assess/measure personality should be used with the correct norm.
You should have the norm for each country where you operate
and
You should use the norm for each country where you operate.

Online Dating sites have very big databases, in the range of 20,000,000 (twenty million) profiles, so the Big Five model or the HEXACO model are not enough for predictive purposes. That is why I suggest the 16PF5 test instead and another method to calculate similarity.
The only way to revolutionize the Online Dating Industry is using the 16PF5 normative personality test, available in different languages to assess personality of members, or a proprietary test with exactly the same traits of the 16PF5 and expressing compatibility with eight decimals (needs a quantized pattern comparison method, part of pattern recognition by cross-correlation, to calculate similarity between prospective mates.)
High precision in matching algorithms is precisely the key to open the door and leave the infancy of compatibility testing.
Without offering the NORMATIVE 16PF5 (or similar test measuring exactly the 16 personality factors) for serious dating, it will be impossible to innovate and revolutionize the Online Dating Industry
All other proposals are NOISE and perform as placebo.
