Classmates.com (USA) Settles With District Over Email Investigation.

Classmates will settle with D.C. over an investigation into its email solicitations and unclear membership renewal practices, according to D.C. Attorney General Irvin B. Nathan.
The social networking website will also reimburse the district USD300,000 for its investigation costs and attorneys’ fees.
Previously Classmates had paid USD2.5 million settlement for lying to users.
(All U.S. residents who were registered with, or subscribed to Classmates at any time between October 30, 2004 and February 23, 2011 had access to cash from a USD2.5 million class action settlement against the original social networking site.)
