Finally the perfect dating algorithm? Of course NOT, Big Five test is OBSOLETE.

The Big Five normative personality test is obsolete, it has been proven as an incomplete and incorrect model of personality.
http://onlinedatingsoundbarrier.blogspot.com.ar/2017/09/online-dating-pioneer-algorithmic.html
The HEXACO (a.k.a. Big Six) is another oversimplification.
Online Dating sites have very big databases, in the range of 20,000,000 (twenty million) profiles, so the Big Five model or the HEXACO model are not enough for predictive purposes. That is why I suggest the 16PF5 test instead and another method to calculate similarity.
High precision in matching algorithms is precisely the key to open the door and leave the infancy of compatibility testing.
Without offering the NORMATIVE 16PF5 (or similar test measuring exactly the 16 personality factors) for serious dating, it will be impossible to innovate and revolutionize the Online Dating Industry.
The Online Dating Industry does not need a 10% improvement, a 50% improvement or a 100% improvement. It does need "a 100 times better improvement"

PAPER: Age trends in HEXACO-PI-R self-reports
http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0092656616301040
Journal of Research in Personality Volume 64, October 2016, Pages 102–111
Highlights
We examined age differences in the six broad HEXACO personality factors and their defining facets, using self-reports from an online sample (N ≈ 100,000, ages 14–74). Honesty-Humility showed an upward trend of about one full standard deviation unit between ages 18 and 60. Age trends for Emotionality and Extraversion differed by facet, but overall were downward for Emotionality and upward for Extraversion. Agreeableness showed relatively weak age trends. Conscientiousness and Openness showed upward age trends during the teen years (extending to the mid-20s for Conscientiousness), but age trends thereafter differed considerably by facet. Results are discussed in relation to previous findings for the Big Five, to the “age-crime curve”, and to possible evolved developmental origins.

PAPER: Psychometric Properties of the HEXACO-100
http://asm.sagepub.com/ content/early/2016/07/11/ 1073191116659134.abstract
Psychometric properties of the 100-item English-language HEXACO Personality Inventory–Revised (HEXACO-PI-R) were examined using samples of online respondents (N = 100,318 self-reports) and of undergraduate students (N = 2,868 self- and observer reports). The results were as follows: First, the hierarchical structure of the HEXACO-100 was clearly supported in two principal components analyses: each of the six factors was defined by its constituent facets and each of the 25 facets was defined by its constituent items. Second, the HEXACO-100 factor scales showed fairly low intercorrelations, with only one pair of scales (Honesty–Humility and Agreeableness) having an absolute correlation above .20 in self-report data. Third, the factor and facet scales showed strong self/observer convergent correlations, which far exceeded the self/observer discriminant correlations.

PAPER "Cattell's Personality Factor Questionnaire (CPFQ): Development and Preliminary Study"
Abstract:
http://www.revistas.usp.br/paideia/article/view/80499/84162
This study was aimed at:
(a) developing an instrument for personality assessment according to Cattell's model, in which the 16PF is based on;
and
(b) carrying out an empirical analysis of the internal structure of the instrument. Three hundred and forty seven people, mostly female (67.4%), attending higher education (62.5%) and aged between 16 and 66 (M= 25.69; SD= 8.90) participated in the study. One hundred and twenty items were created and an exploratory factor analysis of the main factors was carried out. Then, a parallel analysis, an exploratory full information factor analysis with categorical variables and an internal consistency analysis were performed. The results suggest that the instrument is composed of 12 factors of reasonable internal consistency rates.
The model developed by Cattell helped to understand the structural organization found for the instrument, since there is coherency, especially in relation to more general terms (global factors).

That is why I suggest the 16PF5 test instead and another method to calculate similarity between prospective mates. Also to take into account women under hormonal treatment because several studies showed contraceptive pills users make different mate choices, on average, compared to non-users. "Only short-term but not long-term partner preferences tend to vary with the menstrual cycle".
[Also some Psychologists began to encourage the use of other tests for the Online Dating Industry, like:
California Psychological Inventory (CPI)
and
The Millon Index of Personality Styles-Revised (MIPS Revised)
but my best recommendation is, of course, the 16PF5 normative personality test.
Nor the CPI nor the MIPS can outperform the 16PF5.]

How the Big Five (Big 5) normative personality test revealed as .... incomplete
Short answer: thanks to commingling analysis.
Commingling analysis is a statistical method for distinguishing between one (usually normal) distribution and a mixture of two or more distributions.
The HEXACO model is replacing the Big Five normative personality test now!
Online dating sites using the Big Five model could be considered obsolete sites, because the Big Five model has been proven as "an incomplete model"
As some of the subdomains of the main domains of the HEXACO model are different from the subdomains of the main domains of the Big Five model, it can not be simple added the scale of the Honesty-Humility factor to the Big Five model to upgrade the personality test to the HEXACO model. I think, legally, online dating sites using the Big Five model of personality could be considered a FRAUD because they are using an incomplete model of personality. They are assessing 5 scales and not 6 scales.
