Pew study: Online Dating & Relationships

Remember the Pew study: 1 in 3 U.S. Americans now owns a tablet  ? the mobile concept evolving, meaning tablets with Wi-Fi Network access and not smartphones.

Now Pew had published Online Dating & Relationships report.

"Negative experiences on online dating sites are relatively common
Even as online daters have largely positive opinions of the process, many have had negative experiences using online dating. Half (54%) of online daters have felt that someone else seriously misrepresented themselves in their profile. And more seriously, 28% of online daters have been contacted by someone through an online dating site or app in a way that made them feel harassed or uncomfortable. Women are much more likely than men to have experienced uncomfortable contact via online dating sites or apps: some 42% of female online daters have experienced this type of contact at one point or another, compared with 17% of men."

Lack Of Innovation & Decadence can summarize the Online Dating Industry since years. (Please read: The Unsurprising Trend of Online Dating 'Going Offline' )

C level executives are cooking barbecues under the water (selling smoke) and not paying attention to latest research from Academics which could be beneficial for the Online Dating Industry. Wasting precious time with Matchmakers which should be obsolete.

WorldWide, there are over 5,000 -five thousand- online dating sites
but no one is using the 16PF5 (or similar) to assess personality of its members!
but no one calculates similarity with a quantized pattern comparison method!
but no one can show Compatibility Distribution Curves to each and every of its members!
but no one is scientifically proven!

With less than USD10 Million you can copycat eHarmony like TeAmoRu, eSynchrony and others.
or
innovate and revolutionize the Online Dating Industry, killing those old & obsolete sites forever.
