IAC Personals reorganization: Was it a coincidence or not?

Dec 18 2013 Match Faces Dispute Over User in Chicago

Dec 19 2013 IAC Reorganizes: Greg Blatt Is Chairman Of New Match Group

Was it a coincidence or not? Because the IAC did not announce during Q3 2013 they planned to reorganize.
"They do not want to innovate, they want to squeeze their big databases to get all the juice (money) from the wallets of the users. See also IAC Q3 2013 conference call full transcription."
When I was interviewed last January 2011 by "Caras y Caretas" (summer in Argentina) I thought there were going to be a big scandal, because former CEO of Match LATAM Countries recognized 75% inactive profiles at Match Argentina, but nothing happened until August 2011 when a "U.S. Class Action Called Match a 'Scam' / More than 90% of potential dates are "phantoms," suit charged then Match had morphed its marketing campaign.

My bet: Something big will happen soon in IAC Personals, perhaps a big earthquake for the Online Dating Industry.
