IAC is controlled by one man, Mr. Barry Diller.

For me it is clear they do not want to innovate.
They want to squeeze their big databases to get all the juice (money) from the wallets of the daters.
Tinder reached operating ceiling, that is the main reason MTCH launched Tinder U, they need ambassadors.
Do not forget MTCH has big debt, in the range of USD 1.3 Billion.
Chispa, Pairs and Crown dating app, seems to be more bells and whistles and not really innovations.
